European Film Award nominations announcement

Today, the nominations for the European Film Awards were announced, with lots of mentions for buzzy movies like It Was Just an Accident and Sentimental Value. 

I'm just popping in to celebrate the five nominees for European Animated Feature Film, which also all made it into the top category, Best European Film. It's amazing to see an awards-giving body recognize that there's room to celebrate animation beyond its own specific category.

Congrats to the five movies, all of which I've had the pleasure of reviewing over the past few months!
